Using Vanta
Vanta is provided as-is, for personal finance tracking. By using Vanta you agree to use it lawfully and for your own records. You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter; Vanta does not verify amounts, dates, or categories against any external source.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and your encrypted-backup passphrase safe. We can't recover a forgotten passphrase — it never leaves your device.
What Vanta is not
Vanta is not financial advice. Insights, AI Brief findings, budget warnings, and category tips are pattern detections, not professional guidance. Do not rely on Vanta for tax filing, investment decisions, or regulated financial activity.
Subscriptions
If Vanta offers a Pro subscription in your region, it's billed by Apple through your App Store account. You can manage or cancel from iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.
Limitation of liability
Vanta is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to data loss, missed bill reminders, or financial decisions made based on app output.
Termination
You can stop using Vanta at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service (e.g., reverse engineering, attempts to disrupt other users' Squad Sync sessions).
Governing law
Vanta is published by Shashank Sahay, an individual developer. These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you use Vanta as a consumer in the UK or the UAE, you also keep the protections your local consumer law gives you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
